Jess Ball Performs ‘Thank You’ Live at Enmore

Electronic pop prodigy Jess Ball has been on a hot streak, releasing one satisfying single after another and raking in the streams like you wouldn’t believe.
Her new single, Thank You, has a refreshing pop-punk lean, with her customary flourishes of colourful electronic production.
In her Live at Enmore session, this version of Thank You was stripped back to Jess Ball’s stunning vocal, with the tight and percussive acoustic guitar of Richy Sebastian forming the backdrop. The result was a raw, emotional performance that was full of attitude.

And though Jess Ball was travelling light on this occasion, it did nothing to dim the energy of her powerful performance. Here’s what she had to say about Thank You before hitting the studio floor:
“Thank You is a pretty sarcastic song. I’m saying ‘thank you’, but it really means ‘screw you’. It’s about coming to the realisation that you’re in a relationship that’s just not working anymore.”
