Crocodylus performs ‘Untitled’ Live From Happy

PRESENTED BY

Sydney band Crocodylus recently visited the Live from Happy studios with their song Untitled. It’s from their debut album Muscle Memory — released on November 11th. The lads said with bravado, “If you like guitar music, there will be at least one song on the album for you”.

Braving the traffic on a Friday arvo from the Northern Beaches to Newtown, the lads gave us a vibey, spirited version of Untitled before they hit the stage at our 8th birthday party across the road at the Bank Hotel.

Untitled was Mixed and Recorded by Tim McArtney, Owen Penglis and Radi Safi.

This Live from Happy session was made possible by the generous support of ATEN and Mojave. ATEN provide innovative solutions for making better connections and Mojave make world class microphones that are affordable without compromise . In this session Happy utilised the indispensable ATEN UH3237 USB-C Docking Station and the Mojave MA-D Dynamic Handheld Microphone.

Previously a three-piece, they’ve added Nick on keys to the lineup. He lives with the guys and has been roped into the band – blame the covid lockdowns, with nothing else to do except make great tunes.

To finish off the year, Crocodylus is putting on a special Christmas show at the Manly Leages Club on the 23rd of December, and then next year they are heading out on a national tour in January and February, that see’s them ride up and down the east coast hitting up Brisbane, Byron Bay, the Gold Coast, back down to Newcastle, Sydney and Wollongong and then over to Adelaide.

Here’s what Crocodylus had to say about their new album Muscle Memory before taking to the stage…although we think there was a hint of sarcasm:

“The album is like the Foo Fighters meets Johnny Cash. It’s an infusion of everything.”
