Hailing from Australia, FourPlay String Quartet is creating quite a stir with their debut vinyl release, “A Taste Of…”

After successfully collaborating with Neil Gaiman on his debut album “Signs of Life” – Gaiman, known for his literary works “American Gods,” “Sandman,” and “Coraline,”  propelled FourPlay String Quartet into the spotlight, leading to performances at prestigious venues like the Sydney Opera House and Carnegie Hall.

Now, with their first ever vinyl album, their unique blend of classical instruments and modern genres takes center stage withA Taste Of…”  culminating in a retrospective journey that features some standout adaptations, including Radiohead’s “2 + 2 = 5” and The Strokes’ “Reptilia.”

With these renditions, FourPlay String Quartet’s ability to maintain the core essence of the original tracks all the while infusing their distinct touch, makes for a compelling and exciting listen.

“A Taste Of…” marks a significant milestone for the quartet, and as the echoes of their performance resonate, it’s evident that FourPlay String Quartet’s journey deserves attention, earning them a notable spot in both classical and modern music landscapes.
