Despite the constraints of the pandemic, nothing seems to have slowed down the momentum of Muki. A flurry of singles and high profile collabs (think Jessica Mauboy and Briggs) have put the emerging pop songwriter and vocal wunderkind on the map.
For her Live at Enmore session, she brought along her production partner Sam Sakr and a formidable, as yet unreleased track, I’m So Fucking Bored.
With a title like that, you’d expect a little spiciness to go with it. So when you fully indulge in this incredible performance of I’m So Fucking Bored, you won’t be disappointed on that front.

Though the duo kept their setup minimal, the sound was full of analog goodness, provided by Sakr’s synth and sampler. The heavy four-on-the-floor groove I’m So Fucking Bored was part disco, part house, and sure to be a club anthem upon its release.
“It’s about that feeling you get when you’re just over everything,” said Muki while setting up for the session “and you just need something that’s gonna hype you up but also just understand you and this is that song.”
