Aussie Icon Tex Perkins recently visited the Live from Happy studios with his single ‘Brand New Man‘. It’s a single from Tex Perkins and The Fat Rubber Band who are dropping an album early next year in February 2023 called ‘Other World’.
Tex came in with band mate and guitarist Matt Walker while they were en route to a few shows and they gave us an epic duo performance of ‘Brand New Man‘ showing off beautiful guitar skills, Tex’s smooth vocals and a deep, deep groove between the two of them.
Brand New Man was Mixed and Recorded by Tim McArtney, Owen Penglis and Radi Safi.

With Matt covering all the intricate acoustic guitar work and Tex on electric guitar and his sultry vocals, they gave us a mesmerising performance of the debut single from the album ‘Other World’ like the true seasoned professionals they are.
Tex Perkins has said that the song flowed out quickly and is a crowd favourite at shows, so it had to be the leading single for Tex Perkins and tThe Fat Rubber Band’s second album.
