It’s been a big week for CHVRCHES, who are well and truly ramping things up ahead of their upcoming album Love Is Dead.
They’ve practically saved an all-female rock school in their hometown of Glasgow, they’ve released a new single called Miracle, and they’re playing shows all over the shop. Oh, and they’re coming to Splendour In The Grass now. All in a day’s work.
Get around Miracle, a chart-savvy new tune from Glaswegian trio CHVRCHES. And feel good about getting down to it, thanks to their latest charity efforts.
Girls Rock Glasgow recently lost Creative Scotland funding for their yearly summer school, an initiative aimed at getting young women the tools and knowledge they need to make music.
Luckily, CHVRCHES were there to pick up where the camp left off. Read on for both the band and Girls Rock Glasgow’s statements.
Thrilled to announce @CHVRCHES sponsorship of this year’s rock school, couldn’t have asked for better patrons – didn’t have to – their kind offer of help came at just the right time, enabling us to continue with plans and means more sponsored places than ever. Thankyou so much! x
