WIIGZ

Raid your closet for red hot pants, mini skirts and anything glamorous in preparation for the incredibly vibrant, incredibly alluring WIIGZ, who is gracing the stage at Golden Age Cinema and Bar following the release of their latest single, Mini Skirt.

Professionally, they have an electro-dance-pop approach to their music and shows.

Personally, WIIGZ is some major Hot Girl Shit – nuff said.

RAAVE TAPES

Somehow, RAAVETAPES is both an intricate and delicate piece of artwork and no-fuss feel-good fun.

They have figured out the perfect ratio of hyperpop, rock, electro and punk, creating what sounds like their own unique genre of talent.

And, can you believe, they’re giving it away for FREE at The Lansdowne for somewhat of a graveyard shift with their friends LUPO.THEBOY and MIRAMAR.

Stevan

Stevan sounds like how the sun hitting your skin feels.

Dancing between glittery indie pop and upbeat dance music, his latest EP, Loners Club, takes all your feel-good emotions, bundles them all together and ties them up in a sparkly bow.

If you’re staring at your screen, trying to make sense of what I just said, come see for yourself at The Lady Hampshire for the Loners Club Launch Party.

Joining Stevan will be the experimental Felix Dame and dreamy ALIBII

Saturday

Little Quirks is beautiful, poetic and coming to Sydney!

The ultimate folk family are celebrating the release of their latest single Storm Like Me at Waywards at The Bank.

Get in quick because I suspect they are just one tour away from taking over the world.

Joining them will be Abbey Lane and Katie Reid.

Heavy Chest

The kiwi-natives, Heavy Chest will be gracing the Vic on the Park stage for a free show just to say hey to Sydney, what a bunch of sweeties.

Personally, I think slow dancing to the dreamy, floaty indie folk rock sounds of Heavy Chest makes the ultimate date night.

Accompanying them will be soft and soulful AnnaLina.

Uni Tunes

Uni Tunes is back and fusing live music and podcast together yet again, this time at the Oxford Art Factory Gallery with 4 of Sydney’s best-hidden secrets, ranging through genres.

Indie punk rock from Before The King, Charli Lucas gives us some alt-pop, RnB and soul from Jazzy Dale and Kyle Charles Hall with indie pop rock.

On top of that, there will be Q&A’s from the artists and presenters between sets, creating an intimate setting to indulge in Sydney’s best.

Sunday

Marrickville Music Fest

It’s that time of the year when vibrancy and culture take over the streets of Marrickville (more than usual) in this year’s Marrickville Music Festival.

While the lineup is so ridiculously stacked I couldn’t possibly name them all, bands include Haiku Hands, The Smashed Avocadoes and Good Pash.
