A dance music duo hailing from Brisbane, it’s been less than two months since these multi-instrumentalists celebrated their debut gig. Their sound, however, is anything but immature.
With meaty synth undertones and some massive pop hooks, My House from Bayview Terrace is electronic dance music as it should be.
Harbouring a hefty RÜFÜS influence sprinkled with a touch of Daft Punk, My House is a layered, danceable earworm you’ll be tapping your feet to for the rest of the week.
Opening with a soft synth backdrop, humble guitar plucks and vocals smooth as silk, it’s a jam which hooks you from the first second.
It’s a monster hit for a few guys who are just starting out – the production is clean as a whistle and the hooks feel like they’re been written by an absolute pro.
