Wollongong-based The Doors cover band Unlocking The Doors have announced a three-date tour of NSW to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the release of The Soft Parade, the fourth studio record from the influential rock group.
With the addition of six members filling out the experimental brass and string sections incorporated into the release, Unlocking The Doors will be playing the controversial record cover to cover in Newcastle, Newtown and Canberra this July.
Unlocking The Doors are set to play through the entirety of The Soft Parade around New South Wales this July with a full brass and string section in tow.
Despite receiving commercial flack for the record, The Soft Parade gave the world one of The Doors most successful singles in Touch Me, alongside Wishful Sinful, Tell All The People and Runnin’ Blue.
While the tour is running to celebrate The Soft Parade, Unlocking The Doors are set to rip through a second set of The Doors classics to leave everyone bouncing away as they leave the venue.
Don’t miss the opportunity to see The Soft Parade as it was written, as well as enjoying some of your other Doors favourites in this unique showpiece!
