Whether it be music or fashion, David Bowie has always been shaking things up. Now the iconic skate shoe brand Vans are dropping a limited edition run of sneakers honouring the late musician.
The capsule collection will display four of Vans’ most iconic shoe styles, with colour patterns that each pay homage to different Bowie albums.
Vans have designed a limited line of skate shoes to reflect the four most iconic albums of David Bowie. If anything will make you ollie higher, this is it.
The Sk8 Hi-Top model features the iconic Bowie lightning bolt from his breakthrough 1972 album The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars. The Old Skool white shoe is struck again with the seminal lightning bolt, paying homage to the 1973 Aladdin Sane album.
The Slip-On 47 VDX is based off the Hunky Dory record, with chequerboard fur and a mustard strap in true Bowie fashion, while the Era Shoe shares the same polka-dot pattern as the trippy journey that is Space Oddity.
