Fresh from their set at Happy Mag’s Issue 13 launch, Caitlin Harnett & The Pony Boys brought their summery Americana to the Live at Enmore studio. The band kept it laid back for a beautiful version of Make You Feel Blue.
The spacious track was underpinned by earthy grooves and intricate guitar work, all in support of Caitlin Harnett’s soaring vocals.
Caitlin Harnett & The Pony Boys were the latest to come through the Live at Enmore studios, performing Make You Feel Blue – a woozy hit of country perfection.
More than ably supported by her rock-solid backing band, there was ample space for Harnett’s soulful voice, with lyrics full of wry humour.
Before they hit the studio, Harnett reflected on the song’s message:
“I guess the song is about wanting to make someone you like sad… and then having sex with them too.”
