The Killers recently made their way into the BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge, where they played an old classic, a new track from their forthcoming fifth record, Wonderful Wonderful, plus a fantastic cover of one of their major influences, David Bowie.
Watch The Killers pay tribute to one of their major influences, David Bowie, with bang-on cover of his 1975 classic, Fame.
The set kicked of with The Man, a heavily Bowie-inspired track from Wonderful Wonderful, which, fittingly, segued straight into Bowie classic Fame. They then finished off with Killers mainstay Mr. Brightside.
The cover was surprisingly on-point, with frontman Brandon Flowers nailing Bowie’s provocative howl and the band injecting a certain flair of funk and groove.

Wonderful Wonderful is out September 22nd via Island Records.
