We won’t lie, we’ve had a massive crush on Sydney outfit Big White for the last year, their singles You Know I Love You and Dinosaur City proving massive hits. After a massive year for the band they have finally announced the release of their debut album Teenage Dreams for this March. If you find yourself whining “I can’t wait, I want to hear it now!” fear not, the band are set to showcase plenty of that new material this Friday at the Happy Mag launch!
The Sydney five piece had a busy 2015, from the success of their singles You Know I Love You and Dinosaur City to playing Small World Festival and BIGSOUND. Not to mention Dinosaur City claimed the no. 10 spot in the Happy 100. Along with the album announcement, the band has also recently been named as one of the Aussie acts heading over to the US for SXSW for a second time.
And just for more funsies, the band have released a new video for You Know I Love You, this time in Japanese. The Japanese version will be available as a b-side on their Dinosaur City / You Know I Love You (Japanese Version) special edition 7″.
And of course, you can catch this ridiculously awesome live version in the flesh when the band tear up the stage at the Happy Mag launch party at the Union Hotel in Newtown this Friday January 22. Entry is free, with Donny Benet, Bin Juice and Wells performing as well.
Teenage Dreams will be available on March 18 through Caroline Australia. You can subscribe to Happy Mag here too.
