Hailing from Perth, Australia, the Psychedelic Porn Crumpets have carved out their own sound in the pantheon of artists that define psychedelic rock. Building on influences from contemporaries such as Tame Impala and King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard, their sound is defined by interweaving multi-layered harmonies, thick fuzzy riffs and trippy ambient interludes.
Their 2016 debut album High Visceral {Part 1} is often cited as one of Australia's greatest psych-rock records and immediately earn't them an adoring fan base. A year later came High Visceral {Part 2} via Rhubarb Records and highlighted the bands ability to push guitar harmony interplay and expansive rock moments.
Psychedelic Porn Crumpets released their third studio album in 2019, And Now for the Whatchamacallit. It's very much a celebration of the tie-dye psych-rock that remains Perth's gold nugget, and has successfully seen the band tour the world.
