The Belligerents are a five piece band who formed in Brisbane in 2012. Following the break up of seminal Australian psych rock band Moses Gunn Collective, Lewis Stephenson formed The Belligerents in 2010.
They released their debut EP Less Arty More Party in 2011. Their sophomore EP She Calls The Shots dropped in 2012, recorded at Airlock Studios with Yanto Browning. Their debut album Science Fiction (2017) was produced by Konstantin Kersting.
