2026 is the year of Hayley Williams, and Power Snatch.
Earlier on in the year, Hayley Williams announced she was again teaming up longtime collaborator Daniel James, who produced Ego Death at a Bachelorette Party.
The pair returned with a new band, called Power Snatch.
If you’re not already around it, you should get around it, because the pair just released EP2.
As the title suggests, EP2 is their follow-up to EP1.
The pair are all over the place this year, also having covered This is Lorelei on the super deluxe version of Box for Buddy, Box for Star.
EP2 came without warning, but it is very, very welcome.
It’s filled with 90s alt-rock instrumentation, and leans into trip-hop on a couple of tracks.
