Otoboke Beaver have apologised after throwing a guitar into their audience.
Guitarist for Otoboke Beaver, Yoyoyoshi, is no stranger to the punk rock way of doing things.
Which is why she has a long history of throwing her instrument into crowds.
It seems that ritual has changed, though, following the hospitalisation of an audience member during the band’s show at Osaka’s Umeda Club Quattro back in April.
The unsuspecting audience attendee sustained a forehead laceration, requiring several stitches, and sprain.
The band issued an apology for the incident, as well as for their delay in apologising, via their instagram.
You can see the full apology, here.

Otoboke Beaver have stressed that they will make sure an incident such as this never happens at another one of their shows.
They’ve also committed to work with the fan as they recover, and have placed all accountability for the incident on themselves, rather than the venue staff.
