Heaps Gay Street Party is returning so prepare yourselves for maximum dancing

Heaps Gay are back at it again with the announcement of another stacked street party lineup.

After a sold-out and completely wild first instalment of the festival earlier this year, Heaps Gay will be closing down Garden Street in Marrickville for another epic day (and night) full of music and art. It’s kicking off early 2018, on the 20th of January.

Heaps Gay Street Party returns for a second year with a sizzling, stacked lineup, featuring a diverse catalogue of incredible artists representing both locally and abroad.

Joining the party will be US Rapper Cakes Da Killa, Berlin Electronic Queens MEGA O MEGA, Aussie heroes Okenyo and Touch Sensitive, as well as over 20 local DJs, performers and artists.

This year the festival will be partnering with Koori Radio, who will be curating a brand new second stage focusing on Indigenous World Music. This stage will feature DJ Ruby, DJ Delight, and Indij Hip-Hop Crew, among others

Special guest curator Koori Gras in association with Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras will be providing special performances by Nana Miss Koori and Destiny Haz Arrived.

The street party will also boast an impressive lineup of food vendors sure to satisfy and fuel your dancing energy, including Bloodwood, Porteno, Continental Deli, and Two Boys in Sari’s.

Suss the lineup below, and grab some early bird tickets now over at Moshtix. Saunter over to the Facebook event to stay updated.
