Hear Thom Yorke step into BBC Radio 6 for 3 live performances and a 60-minute atmospheric mix

UPDATE: A further video of Thom Yorke performing Radiohead track Everything In Its Right Place has been shared. Check it out below.

I’m always happy to see Thom Yorke popping up with more frequency, so this last few months leading up to the release of his Suspiria soundtrack have been pure gold.

His latest showing was with the good people of BBC Radio 6, who hosted him for a chat about making his first film soundtrack, a few live performances from the record, plus a 60-minute ‘Slow Sunday’ mix featuring some very, very nice selections.

Watch and listen as Thom Yorke drops into BBC Radio 6 for a series of gripping live performances, a short chat and a blissful hour-long mix.

After a chat with DJ Mary Anne Hobbs, Yorke settles down for live versions of Open AgainSuspirium and Unmade from the Suspirium soundtrack.

His Slow Sunday mix features tunes from Lightnin’ Hopkins, James Blake, Ryuichi Sakamoto, and more, along with a previously unreleased track of his named Suspiria Solo Glass Harmonica.

“Hello I’m Thom, and for next hour I will be playing you some Slow Sunday tunes. I’ve got stuff from Steve Reich, Low, James Blake, Ryuichi Sakamoto… first off, Pierre Henry with some birdies.”

Listen to the full mix here, plus check out a few of Yorke’s live performances and an interview below.
