daz and the demons

We had the pleasure of catching up with Daz, who you might remember as Darren Cordeaux from the band Kisschasy.

Back in 2016, Daz embarked on a big change in his life. He made Los Angeles his new home with one clear goal in mind: to write songs for others and take a break from the non-stop touring that had been a big part of his past.

Now, let’s fast forward to today. Daz has undergone quite a creative transformation. He’s reintroduced himself as an independent artist, going by the name “Daz & The Demons.”

In 2021, he formed a new band, marking a significant shift in his musical journey.

During the pandemic, when many of us were dealing with solitude and uncertainty, Daz’s creative juices were flowing. Instead of letting the monotony get to him, he harnessed it.

He delved deep into his personal truths and cultivated a stripped-down, minimalist style. This new essence, filled with wisdom and rich sonic resonance, has become his artistic signature.

Now, Daz is moving forward with fresh musical endeavours, and the excitement is palpable. With Daz & The Demons leading the charge, they’ve treated us to some compelling singles like “You Wait For Something” and “You Haunt My Every Dream.”

Our conversation with Daz was truly generous and insightful. It was a deep exploration of the artistic evolution of a musician who’s constantly on the move, always searching for new creative horizons.

We can’t wait to see what he does next, and we’re eagerly anticipating the next chapter in his musical journey.

Keep your eyes peeled here for Daz & The Demons forthcoming album drop.
