Jack White-led The Raconteurs to release a new record in 2019 after 10 year hiatus

UPDATE: The new album, titled Help Me Stranger, will be released on June 21st.

As if he hasn’t been busy enough, what with a world tour for his new album Boarding House Reach just wrapping up, it has just been announced that Jack White’s side project The Raconteurs will release a new album in 2019 after a 10 year hiatus.

The band, which also features Brendan Benson, Jack Lawrence, and Patrick Keeler, haven’t released an album since 2008’s Consolers of the Lonely.

The Racontuers

After 10 years since their last record, Consolers of the Lonely, Jack White’s side project The Raconteurs will be releasing a new album in 2019.

At moment, there aren’t many details about the new album, such as a tracklist or official release date. However, we can expect to hear two new tracks from it on a new 10-year anniversary reissue of Consolers of the Lonely.

The album is the latest instalment in Third Man Records’ quarterly Vault subscription series. It will be pressed on copper foil metallic vinyl, marking the first time the LP has been available on coloured vinyl. The two new tracks will feature on an accompanying 7-inch, pressed on mixed metal vinyl.

You can see the package below and sign up for Third Man’s Vault here.

The Raconteurs released their first album, Broken Boy Soldiers, in 2006. They have been fairly inactive since playing a string on shows back in 2011. Listen to Salute Your Solution below.
