Aussie legend Jimmy Barnes is heading on tour this year to celebrate his latest album My Criminal Record.
Joining Barnes for selected shows throughout the tour are similarly combustable rockers Jet and Eskimo Joe.
Jimmy Barnes will be Shutting Down Your Town on his upcoming 13 date tour. Rock royalty Jet and Eskimo Joe will be filling support slots for what is sure to be an unmissable display of Aussie awesomeness.
For the past few years Jimmy Barnes has been working on his Working Class Boy and Working Class Man autobiographies (which quickly sold over 400,00 copies) and an accompanying documentary.
For an artist with such an extensive back catalogue of undying rock classics, Barnes has made a formidable name for himself both as the frontman of Cold Chisel and as a solo artist.
“It’s been ten years since I made an original rock record and I can’t wait to get out there and play these songs, along with all the old favourites, to a live audience,” says Barnes. “It’s going to be great!”
In perfect tune with the rockstar’s Aussie lifeblood, Barnes will be playing a handful or rural venues along with huge performances in the capital cities.
My Criminal Record is out May 31st. Grab your tickets here.
