PREMIERE: Vast Hill unveil their irresistibly sultry new single Abagail

It was back in March, with the release of their amazingly surreal video for Heartbreaker, that we were first introduced to the shimmering pop goodness of Vast Hill. They seemingly emerged from nowhere. “Who the hell are these suave synth-pop cowboys,” we asked ourselves.

In the months since, the group—made up of Adin Milo and Elle Kress—have quickly became one of our favourite Sydney acts. Now, with the release of their latest single Abagail, our love for the duo has firmly been cemented.

Fresh off performing at our Needle In The Hay finalists’ party, Vast Hill have dropped Abagail; the latest taste of their upcoming debut album.

The new single is the latest taste of Vast Hill’s debut full-length album More Than You Imagined, and as has come to be expected from the band, it’s an irresistibly sultry slice of electro-pop. With groove-indusing electronic beats and slick vocal hooks, the new single will seep down into your bones and leave you no choice but to dance.

With production assistance from Luke Million and Michael Chow (FROYO), Abigail sees Milo and Kress even further refine their effortlessly energetic music into something truly spell-binding.

More Than You Imagined, the debut album from Vast Hill, is set to be released on October 18th, and judging by the quality of everything we’ve heard so far, I think we’re in store for plenty more great tunes.

In the meantime, do yourself a favour and listen to the new single above.
