Red Hot Chili Peppers are making a long-overdue and highly anticipated return to Australian shores, headlining the annual A Day on the Green in Geelong in March!

It’ll be the iconic funk-rock band’s first Australian shows since 2013’s Big Day Out. They’re also planning on undertaking a national headline tour, their first in Australia in over 12 years.

Red Hot Chili Peppers are returning to Australia next year for their first headline tour in 12 years, plus a one-off gig at A Day on the Green!

Tasmanian fans will be pleased to learn that, as part of their massive national tour, Red Hot Chili Peppers will play their first ever show in Tasmania at Hobart’s Derwent Entertainment Centre. Sydney, Hunter Valley, Brisbane, Melbourne and Perth will also play host to headline performances.

The band are expected to play a curated selection of new songs from their most recent studio album The Getaway (2016), as well as songs from their back catalogue, including crowd favourites Californication, Under the Bridge, Dani California and Scar Tissue.

This summer marks the 18th season of A Day on The Green, which started back in 2001. Over the past 18 years, it has seen over three million patrons enjoy around 453 shows nation-wide.
