To celebrate the success of their latest record, Grandular, Sun God Replica have an exciting announcement.
After their unexpected explosion of popularity in Spain and France, Sun God Replica are packing up their kits and guitars and launching themselves into an Australian and European tour.
With a list of new venues and cracking line-ups, Sun God Replica will celebrate their new record, Grandular, around the globe.
Link Meanie, from the iconic Australian band, The Meanies, formed the psych rock band Sun God Replica in 2011, but it wouldn’t be complete without drummer Lochie Cavigan and bassist Lance Swagger. Taking the musical ingredients of the 60s and 70s and thrashing it out on guitar and drums, Sun God Replica make a mean sound.
Their success knows no geographical bounds, somehow managing to slide beyond the Australian plains and into the ears of Spanish rockers.
So far, their line-up consists of Legends of Motorsport, Midnight Wolf and Golden Shower in Belgrave, Victoria. Following that, they’ll be up to Ballarat on to play with SWHAT and Zeahorse.
Two gig dates in Australia have been announced before they head to France and Spain. Keep up to date with tour announcements through their Facebook and website.
