Boy has it been a hot minute since Tame Impala released their 2015 international wipe-out Currents, but they’re back and proving their new music was worth the wait.
The weekend marked the Perth group’s debut as musical guests on Saturday Night Live, but this wasn’t their only debut of the night. After bringing the house down with their recently released single Patience, Tame Impala surprised fans with their first ever taste of a delectably danceable new tune.

Fans are frothing over the new bop Borderline, which is expected to resurface on their long awaited upcoming album. Tame Impala have more than wet our appetites with their new grooves so far and we cannot wait for the main course. Although we’re still awaiting details about said album, we’ll be screaming it from the rooftops as soon as they arrive.
After announcing headline slots at just about every major festival anywhere (you name it, Coachella, Glastonbury, Lollapalooza, the list goes on) Aussies are noticing a convenient gap in their schedule that may or may not coincide with Splendour in the Grass 2019. We’ll be keeping our eyes peeled when the lineup is announced this Wednesday.
