Melbourne reggae lords Centre and the South are on a hot streak following the release of their debut album Yadah and their east coast tour getting off to a cracking start at the tail end of January. Before they kick off the rest of their tour tomorrow in Bondi, we posed to the band who they thought were the best reggae bands traversing the country. El Moth
Melbourne’s premiere party band! Vocal hooks, rolling bass lines and shredding guitars are in abundance with these guys! They’ve been quiet of late but word is the moth flies again.
Kooyeh
The ever present and ever evolving Kooyeh. If you dig big band mixed with dub and dancehall then these guys are a must.
T-Rhythm
The tightest originals and the freshest mash-ups! Oh, and these Samoan / Aussie boys from the western suburbs have the purest harmonies a human can enjoy.
Ras Jahnow
A true depiction of pure reggae / rocksteady music, expressed with energy and high vibrations. Let this West African master lift your spirit and rock your soul!
