The 38-minute collection features remixes from Eprom, SOPHIE, slowthai and more, with female vocals and layers of rap seamlessly melded into Flume’s fresh new sound. Its called Hi This is Flume. Hey Flume, good to hear from you again. Love your work.
The sonically complex and surreally explorative nature of the mixtape isn’t the only reason we love Hi This is Flume though. It’s the way that Flume has lent himself the subject of 2019’s freshest meme template. The fifth song on the album is titled ╜φ°⌂▌╫§╜φ°⌂▌╫§╜φ°⌂▌╫§╜φ°⌂▌╫§╜. You read that correctly. That’s not a glitch.
