Over the past week Dinosaur Jr has played a residency at New York’s Bowery Ballroom, each night bringing some special guests with him including Henry Rollins, Kim Gordon and Lee Ranaldo – and, as of last night, Kevin Shields from My Bloody Valentine and Kurt Vile.
Shields and KV joined Dinosaur Jr on stage for 10-minute reniditon of Neil Young‘s Cortez the Killer, while Shields and Dinosaur Jr took on My Bloody Valentine’s Thorn (while Vile dances like a goof in the background). Watch all the action below:
