RACKETT have been kicking goal after goal in 2017, popping into our radars with freakish frequency since a notorious set at Electric Lady.
Bush rockabillies Shearin’ have been a name to watch since their 2016 EP Cheerin’, their acclaim only compounded by an infamous single Budget Cuts.
Meanwhile Mini Skirt are the new kids on the block, but not a gang to take lightly. Dying Majority is shaping up to be the brutally honest punk cut of the year, a pub anthem with a twist that has the scene utterly addicted.

The band with the winning performance will be crowned the winner of VB Hard Yards 2017 and will receive recording time at A-Sharp Studios, where they’ll work on a new single mixed by the legendary Nick Franklin.
Along with the B-side to a split 7″ with the Cosmic Psychos and a chat with FBi Radio’s music director Amelia Jenner, they’ll also be awarded a mean $3000 in cash.
