The Bank Hotel consistently brings some of the best indie artists right to the heart of Newtown, with a calendar of must see performances from some killer Aussie artists this February!

CLYPSO – Friday February 8

Celebrating the release of her recent EP Cameo, Sydney-based troppo-electronica artist CLYPSO is bringing her grimey basslines, hyperactive beats and sounds of summer to The Bank for the Sydney leg of her national tour. Having supported the likes of PNAU and E^ST, it is no wonder CLYPSO is packing crowds.

NB: This show requires dancing shoes. Tickets available here.

Narla – Thursday February 14

Celebrate Valentine’s Day in style with Narla, Kimono Drag Queens, and Tesse. Bringing hypnotic grooves and wailing guitars, Narla exhibit years of playing together, whisking you to psychedelic paradise and back to reality. Narla have built a reputation for a great and unpredictable live show, with no song ever being played the same twice.

A truly unique way to surprise your Valentine! Tickets available here.

Noah Dillon – February 15

Start off the weekend with Noah Dillon’s tearjerking melodies and emotional stories that will make you question who you are. Don’t stress though, you’ll have the whole weekend to figure it out. The Bank Hotel will be hosting the Sydney leg of the WA singer-songwriter’s Holding On Tour, with the single due out Feb 1st.

Bringing his five-piece alt-rock band along for the ride, Dillon is without a doubt going to put on one heck of a tour! Tickets are available at the event – make sure you’re there early so not to miss out.

NERVE – February 21

This wouldn’t be a complete list of killer Aussie acts without including an underground hip hop artist. Brisbane based producer and MC NERVE is bringing his A-Bomb single tour to The Bank Hotel on Feb 21 with a packed lineup of local supports. At only 21, NERVE is already selling out shows across the country and scoring multiple spots on triple j.

If you’re into uncovering new hip hop artists as they break, get your tickets here.

Teenage Dads – February 23

Teenage Dads are setting out on a national tour to celebrate the release of their upcoming single Message in the Sand. This dynamic psychedelic rock/dream pop band will be playing their Sydney show at The Bank and oh boy, it’s going to be a crazy room.

One of the bands to watch this year, make sure to snap up tickets while they’re still under $20.
