Take a peek at the most played artists on triple J in 2015

2016 has been a massive year for Australian music with bands like Tame Impala and Courtney Barnett making massive strides in the international music realm, so its no surprise to hear that they are amongst the most played artists on triple J – arguably the biggest advocates of Aussie music in the country – in 2015.

That being said there are still a fair few internationals that made the top 20, with Florence + The Machine and The Wombats placing 2nd and 3rd.

Double J was also topped by international artists with Blur, Laura Marling and Beck being the three most played artists on the digital station.

Triple J Unearthed of course was all about the local unsigned talent that have been tearing around the country with Gordi topping the list.
