In a monumental celebration of three decades since the release of their iconic sixth studio album, “Where You Been,” American rock legends Dinosaur Jr. have announced a highly anticipated U.S. tour.
This milestone marks the band’s most defining musical achievement, as “Where You Been” continues to resonate with fans worldwide since its triumphant debut in 1993, soaring to #50 on the Billboard Charts that same year, with lead single “Start Choppin'” securing the coveted number 3 spot on the Modern Rock Tracks chart in the U.S. and staking its claim in the Top 20 of the UK Singles Chart.
To commemorate this monumental milestone, the band has revealed a thrilling U.S. summer tour featuring the reunited trio of J Mascis, Lou Barlow, and Murph. Kicking off on June 3rd at the Shellraiser Festival in McGill, NV, the tour will take Dinosaur Jr.’s blistering performances to various cities across the nation.
Fans can mark their calendars for a sensational stop at Milwaukee’s renowned Summerfest on July 6th, where Dinosaur Jr. will undoubtedly ignite the stage with their raw energy and electrifying presence.
The tour will continue its sonic journey, leaving a trail of sonic destruction in its wake, with notable stops in Philadelphia, Nashville, and Denver, among other iconic music hubs.

Following their U.S. tour, the band is set to perform a string of shows in London, spanning four nights from November 12th to the 15th at The Garage. Additionally, as part of their European dates, they will entertain audiences for seven consecutive nights in Brooklyn at the Music Hall of Williamsburg. General ticket sales for all these shows will commence on May 25th at 10 AM EST.
