A true epic – lay eyes on the world’s longest Cuban cigar

Next time you’re in Havana, there’s a destination that should be at the top of your list. The world’s longest Cuban cigar resides in the Morro Castle Historic Park.

Forget the Big Pineapple. In Havana, you can see the world’s biggest Cuban cigar. It was made by master roller, Jose Castelar Cairo.

The gigantic smoke was created by a master of the craft, Jose Castelar Cairo, aka Cueto. It measures a staggering 295 feet (almost the length of a football field), and it’s even got a name: Habano.

In the least surprising dedication ever, it was made in honour of Fidel Castro.

The interminably long cigar is folded up, under lock and key in the Morro Castle Historic Park. So no, don’t even think about lighting it up.
