One of the most household names in Aussie music and an established star of the home-grown hip hop scene is back once again. Illy’s fifth studio album is on it’s way, dropping in less than two weeks on Friday, November 11th.
Coinciding with the release of Two Degrees is a chunky tour, seeing Illy launch the record in three of the country’s best venues and hitting a huge string of festival dates over the upcoming season. Jump below for all the details you need.
The multi-platinum Aussie hip hop prodigy Illy is back on the scene, hitting some of the country’s biggest festivals to celebrate the release of his new record Two Degrees.
The massive success of Illy’s hit Papercuts featuring Vera Blue should serve as pretty prolific foreshadowing of what’s in store over the rest of Two Degrees’ track list. The tune has cooked up over 20 million streams worldwide, and earned Illy an ARIA nomination to boot.
The second cut from the album, Catch 22 featuring Anne-Marie is just as tight as a tune, and lyrically it’s a witty statement supporting those of us strong enough to make the unpopular choice.
