Our next print issue is fast approaching, and you know we couldn’t release a mag without a big, free party. Today we’re stoked to share the first set of artists who will be playing the Happy Mag Issue 12 Launch.
Join us once again at the Marly Bar in Newtown, Sydney for a big night on Friday August 16th. Here’s who you’ll be seeing on the stage.

Flyying Colours will be jetting up from Melbourne, bringing with them an all-out assault of righteous psychedelic noise. Since releasing their debut LP Mindfullness, they’ve toured with the best, including Black Angels, The Jesus & Mary Chain, and A Place to Bury Strangers. They’re going to turn you upside-down.
Also joining us are A. Swayze and The Ghosts, all the way from Tassie. One of Australia’s most hyped new acts, by the time they hit the Marly stage they’ll have Splendour In The Grass and a massive UK tour in their back pockets. They’ll be ready to pop.
On the local front we have a slice of powerful punk courtesy of Flight to Dubai, Sydney’s hottest new DIY act R.M.F.C., and Dweeb City, a band you’ll just have to see to believe. Plus, we’ve still got a few surprises in store.
Issue 12 will mark Happy Mag’s inaugural Sex Issue, featuring cover art by Australian artist Jess Cochrane. If you head along to the launch you’ll be able to grab a free copy, otherwise pre-order the mag here.
