With just over two weeks left until the Happy Mag Issue 12 Launch, we’re stoked to share some additions to our huge line-up. Once again on Friday the 16th of August, we’re taking over the Marly Bar in Newtown, programming multiple levels of epic live music.
These artists will be the ones making you dance. We’ve got a set of DJs and one of our favourite live electronic acts hitting the Tokyo Sing Song club stage, as well as a string of DJs keeping the venue moving between live acts on the ground floor.
There are just over two weeks until the Happy Mag Issue 12 Launch! Check out these ripper new additions to our lineup.
Home-grown darkwave authority Buzz Kull will be headlining Tokyo Sing Song with a live set, bringing his signature heavy electronica to the Marly’s darkest corner. Supporting him will be Sydney-based techno aficionado Drox who will deliver a set packed full of epic techno, electro, and acid bangers.
Returning to the Tokyo Sing Song stage will be Caciara, the musical alias of Sydney-based producer Lachie Brookman, heating up the floor with his dramatic and danceable, hard-hitting beats. The boss boys from Bonza Records will also be spicing up the dancefloor with a selection of epic tunes.
We’ve also invited a few of our favourite party people to bring their saucy dancefloor selections to the Marly’s main decks, including Psyched As, Coven Presents, Eagle Eye Jones, Tuppaware Party, and Circle. In addition to their live set, Flight To Dubai will also be gracing the decks with a DJ set.
Issue 12 will mark Happy Mag’s inaugural Sex Issue, featuring cover art by Australian artist Jess Cochrane. If you head along to the launch you’ll be able to grab a free copy, otherwise pre-order the mag here.
