This world of ours can be scary and dangerous. These mean streets can be full of violence and thuggery. Though thankfully, there exists a group in whom you can trust – a group of ordinary civilians just chipping in and doing their part.
Yes, that’s right… Melbourne’s most loveable and trusted seven-piece band Approachable Members Of Your Local Community are here to help you out.
Approachable Members Of Your Local Community’s new EP will have you dancing with the unbelievable confidence that comes with living in a reliable and sophisticated neighbourhood.
On their incredible new EP If There’s Anything You Need, Please Don’t Hesitate To Contact Us, the band deliver reassuring, synth-driven indie pop that will have you grooving-out in no time.
EP opener Velcro is an insanely infectious, shimmering dance track (with an incredibly bizarre video you should definitely check out) that sets the scene for the remaining five tracks.
If There’s Anything You Need, Please Don’t Hesitate To Contact Us consistently delivers glittery funk-pop tracks with strong melodies, and unimaginably tight instrumentation.
Semiotic Vision is a thumping, soul-infused track that feels as though it’s floating around the space above your head, while EP closer (Fuck You) I Love You navigates a tumultuous relationship in the most endearing and sultry way possible.
The new EP was recorded and mixed by Casey Hartnett (King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard) and mastered by Poons Head (Tame Impala, Pond), who have both done a spectacular job in crafting a seemingly flawless six tracks.
Do yourself a favour and listen to the new EP above.
