Childish Gambino is the musical moniker of American actor, comedian, writer, producer, director, musician, and DJ, Donald Glover. His debut 2011 album Camp, was released via Glassnote Records.
In 2013, Childish Gambino issued his second album Because The Internet, which debuted at No.7 on the Billboard Charts. His third album, Awaken, My Love! was released in 2016 and was warmly received by critics as Glover departed from hip hop to include psychedelic soul, funk, and R&B. It also earned a Grammy nomination for Best Contemporary Urban Album.
In 2018, Glover signed to RCA Records and released a single titled, This Is America which debuted at No.1 on the Billboard Charts.
