Hiatus Kaiyote is a neo-soul quartet who formed in Melbourne, 2011. The outfit consists of vocalist Naomi 'Nai Palm' Saalfield, bassist Paul Bender, keyboardist Simon Mavin and drummer Perrin Moss.
They have released two studio albums on Flying Buddha Records: Tawk Tomahawk (2012), and Choose Your Weapon (2015). Both albums were nominated for Grammy Awards.
In 2017, Nai Palm released her debut solo album Needle Paw, to general acclaim. She has since been diagnosed with breast cancer and the band are on hiatus to support her recovery.
