Pikachunes is the sad pop project of jazz trained Melbourne musician Miles McDougall. Classicaly trained in his youth, Miles founded Pikachunes in 2009 based on digitally focused compositions while he recovered from a serious skateboarding accident.
His debut EP Pikachunes was released in 2011 followed by the Miles EP in 2013 via Lil’ Chief Records. Incorporating influences of the Pet Shop Boys and disco driven synth pop, Pikachunes quickly garnered a significant following and toured Europe, Australia, New Zealand and the east coast of America.
In 2015 Pikachunes signed to Monday Records and released his third album Allely.
