All of your favourite comedians are banding together to fight fear with love. Stand Up For Christchurch will aid those grieving from this terrible occurrence.
There is nothing more beautiful than the human spirit. The past few weeks has seen a terrible act followed by a stunning display of leadership and compassion.
Now, to top it off, a huge team of Aussie comedians are banding together to throw a massive benefit called Stand Up For Christchurch, and it will aim to raise money to aid the families of the victims of the recent terror attack.
Joining the bill are huge names like Arj Barker, Urzila Carson, Nazeem Hussain, Dave Hughes, Cal Wilson, Matt Okine, Tommy Little, Frida Deguise, Ceila Pacquola and stacks more.
“The line up came together miraculously quick”, said Hussain who is MC-ing the event.
“Comedians usually take 48 hours to respond. They all texted back within 2 minutes! There’s clearly so much love to give from the comedy community.”
Stand Up For Christchurch will be part of the Melbourne International Comedy Festival, which will take place on the 13th April.
