BIGSOUND Festival is back once again! Heading back to Brisbane’s Fortitude Valley in September for its 16th year running, the mammoth music showcase / conference / bender of discovery has announced a typically huge lineup and a few new twists for 2017.
Everyone’s favourite Australian music showcase/conference/bender of discovery BIGSOUND is back for 2017 with a huge lineup and a few new twists.
This morning BIGSOUND dropped their first lineup of over 60 artists to join the first round of industry speakers already announced. Winston Surfshirt, Body Type, Donny Benét, Hockey Dad, Hatchie, Peter Bibby, Baker Boy and The Creases are just the tip of the huge bill.
Changing it up a little this year, BIGSOUND have also announce that the festival will officially be running over four nights instead of the usual three, and that all acts will be doing two showcases instead of one – meaning you won’t have to worry about clashes.
To make things even more exciting, every band announced on the bill will be eligible to win a share of the $100,000 Levi’s Music Prize.
Tickets for BIGSOUND Festival are now on sale. A single passes are $45 and a four day pass is $85.
Access All Areas passes, which include entry to all live shows, conferences, parties, delegate portal and more, are available from just $470 with special rates ending at midnight on July 31.
See the full lineup below, and head to BIGSOUND to buy tickets and for more details.
