Brisbane Festival have unveiled their enormous 2019 music program

Plastered all over the city of Brisbane are a sea of miniature pink doors, installed in celebration for this year’s Brisbane Festival. The enormous ‘a-door-able’ public art stunt unveils the grand scale of the festival, which has also just announced the most immense music line up yet.

Opening up with a huge Riverside Birthday Bash on the 7th of September, party starter Hot Dub Time Machine and dance floor gods Confidence Man will be kicking it all off with the party of the year. Amity Affliction are putting on their own evening with an array of some of the largest heavy metal groups.

Have a gaze through the extensive line-up for the Brisbane Festival, bringing renowned local and international acts through its miniature pink doors.

Indie sensations The Middle East are making another ephemeral appearance, and for the closing night, City and Colour, The Jezabels and Asha Jeffries will send it off under a fireworks display.

There’s a lot going on, so we’ve compiled a list of the music acts below. Have a gaze through and you’ll see names of some of the best local and international talent set to take to stages around the city this springtime.
