Melbourne Music Week is going carbon-free for its 10th anniversary and for the first time ever is aiming to work together with exhibitors and attendees to create a zero-waste hub!

The massive lineup has proven there’s something for everyone with 300 acts over the 10-day event.

Fan-favourite immersive venue Kubik will be returning at Alexandra Gardens and will feature impressive musical performances from CC:Disco!, Kittin, Jennifer Loveless and Raphael Top-Secret just to name a few.

Melbourne CBD will host over 100 free live music acts on the opening night across various venues, while the closing night at Hamer Hall will have you boogieing till sunrise from DJs Roza Terenzi, Luca Lozano and Mr Ho.

Intellectual discussions will also be on offer with topics ranging from music, artificial intelligence, sustainability plus loads more.

“Music is part of the fabric of Melbourne, and for 10 years we’ve worked hard to showcase the incredible wealth of musical talent we have to offer,” Chair of the Arts, Culture and Heritage portfolio of Melbourne Music Week and Councillor Rohan Leppert stated about the upcoming event.

“We’ve also transformed some of the city’s most iconic, historic and unconventional spaces into music venues – from the Argus Building, to the State Library of Victoria, St Paul’s Cathedral and ACMI.”

“More than 350,000 music lovers have enjoyed what MMW has to offer over the past decade and we’re excited to get back to our roots at Kubik to celebrate MMW’s success in style.”

Melbourne Music Week is from Friday, November 15 to Saturday, November 23 and you can grab your tickets here.
