Day two of Splendour In The Grass is in full swing, and we’ve just heard that Sunday headliner Chance The Rapper will no longer be playing tomorrow night.
The Chicago rapper is unwell and unable to fly, so he has been forced to stay in the United States.
Those attending Splendour In The Grass will no longer be able to catch Chance The Rapper on Sunday night. Australia’s own Hilltop Hoods will be filling in.
Chance and his team shared the following message to his Australian fans:
“It is with great regret we announce that Chance The Rapper will not be coming to Australia to perform at Splendour in the Grass. Unfortunately, due to illness he is unable to fly.”
In Chance’s place, Australian hip-hop party starters Hilltop Hoods will be playing Sunday night’s headline slot. Get on down to the Amphitheatre stage to end Splendour with a bang.
