Everybody’s favorite infectious-indie-pop-machine Darwin Deez has a brand new single, and yep, you guessed it, it’s sunny, jangly and cathchy as hell.
Time Machine is set to feature on the band’s forthcoming third record Double Down, due out in the coming months. It’s a springy pop tune with all the Darwin Deez ingredients thrown in there: bright guitars, bouncy percussion and sweet, hooky vocals.
Speaking about the lyrics, Darwin Deez explians: “I don’t like having enemies or being on bad terms with people, but an old friend of mine is keeping me at a distance. I really prefer to talk these kind of things out, but some people just don’t. That’s what inspired the words to Time Machine—wanting to hurry up, get past the bitterness and on to the reunion.”
