Dean Lewis has announced his debut album, A Place We Knew

Dean Lewis has announced his debut album A Place We Knew, set to be dropping next month.

After 7 Minutes went Gold and Be Alright hit 6x Platinum, placing it at #6 on the Triple J Hottest 100, Dean is dropping a full-length album, reminiscing on past relationships.

After being named Billboard’s “Chart Breaker” Dean Lewis is consolidating success with his debut studio album A Place We Knew.

To follow up, Dean has announced a national tour in May, which is jam-packed with big shows. We suggest you jump in quick if last year is anything to go by, with shows selling out pretty swiftly.

The album title was inspired after an in-flight radio presenter said: “I wish that was a place we’d known about“. Dean immediately grabbed his pen and jotted it down. The resulting work is his attempt to encapsulate the bittersweet memories of past relationships, as Lewis reflects “it was all written in houses I used to live in and hotel rooms“.

A Place We Knew is available worldwide on the 22nd of March.
