“In a perfect world, maybe somewhere in outer space or maybe in Japan, every one of these songs would be a massive hit and Deep Space Supergroop would be an actual supergroup, with legions and legions of fans. But for now, they are yours.”
After a fruitful stint in Osaka, Deep Space Supergroop are back on the hard streets of Marrickville – writing, recording and tweaking their work for the pre-production of their forthcoming album. We got in touch with the boys and scored a hot little track – the unreleased Room In The Sky, recorded in guitarist Tom Dufficy’s living room only a few weeks ago. Its a quiet, reflective track from DSSG, who deliberately toned it down, unsure of how the acoustics of percussion would go down in a domestic setting.
So excited for these guys to start gigging again, but for the mean time, satisfy your Deep Space cravings with their sick Label State t-shirts.
Thanks Deep Space :)
