Finally, you can listen to all those Westworld piano covers without queueing up the entire episode

If you haven’t been living under a rock for the past few months, you’ve either been watching Westworld or heard whispers of it. HBO’s new flagship finished it’s first season with a bang last week, closing their run with record breaking numbers – eclipsing even the premiere season of Game of Thrones in ratings.

For music lovers, a delightful set of easter eggs within the series was a collection of piano covers – renditions of modern songs placed into the western setting of the show. The saloon-style jams were an absolute treat, but they weren’t available anywhere online for the season’s duration.

A week after Westworld winds down, HBO has released the stellar soundtrack, featuring piano renditions of several classic hits from the bands we love.

Composed by Ramin Djawadi, who also worked on Game of Thrones, the soundtrack features covers of Paint It Black by The Rolling StonesHouse of the Rising Sun by The AnimalsSomething I Can Never Have by Nine Inch Nails as well as Motion Picture Soundtrack, Fake Plastic Trees and Exit Music (For a Film) from Radiohead, among many others.
